Procurement Manager

Our client is a Multinational Corporation seeking for motivated and committed individual to join their dynamic team.

·        Pro-actively engage business stakeholders and Finance teams to identify sourcing and savings opportunities to leverage spend within the region.

·        Develop category strategies through spend analysis and partner with key business stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing.

·        Lead strategic supplier negotiations.

·        Manage purchase risk through risk assessments, supplier performance evaluation and manage issues for escalation.

·        Provide market knowledge, intelligence and expertise while working closely with business stakeholders and suppliers.

·        Support development of overall Supplier Management strategy and definition of strategic objectives for key suppliers.

·        Guide business users on procurement policy and practices.

Requirements:

·        Degree with at least 6-8 years of procurement /category management experience, preferably within the Logistics domain

·        Possess a strategic focus with the ability to analyse, formulate and implement procurement strategies to significantly reduce costs

·        Strong influencing, sourcing project management and negotiation skills.

·        Excellent project management and organisational skills

·        Strong verbal and written communications skills

·        Familiarity with constructing presentations, organisation communications, and business cases

·        Knowledge in the use of e-sourcing tools such as Ariba and systems such as SAP will be beneficial
