End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1.       Provides technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware and software

2.       Coordinate activities to identify, diagnose and rectify problems with little precedence, simulate user problems to resolve operating difficulties

3.       Responds, documents and resolves service tickets in a timely manner and according to Service Level Agreements

4.       Interacts with cross functional teams, understands support requirement, performs ad-hoc root cause analysis, develops checklists for typical problems and defines methods for issue resolution and prevention.

5.       Organize system activities including planned maintenance events, system backup processes and involve in planning & testing disaster recovery drills

6.       Understands the service level requirements and strives for continuous service improvement by providing quality technical support to end users.

7.       Required to be on standby with on-call availability, including after-office-hours, weekends and holidays.


Job requirements:

1.       Diploma/ Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent

2.       At least 2 – 4 years of experience in End User Computing environment using leading methodologies and applications such as Anti-virus, Full Disk Encryption, Patch Management, Windows 10 & 7 desktops management tools such as SCCM, big fix, Windows GPOs, AD, MS Office, Video Conferencing equipment, IOS, Android and MDM device management products

3.       Experienced in Financial or Insurance domain preferred

4.       Strong vendor management and communication skills with experience in negotiation and managing service providers.

5.       Experience in end user device deployment planning, tracking with issues & resolution follow-through

6.       Certification in ITIL, MCSE preferred.
